Summary

After Willem de Bruin’s succesful ‘Man in Nood’ tour throughout 2019, he was granted a final Encore in the tunnel of the famous Rijksmuseum during “the year of Rembrandt” as part of “Music in the Rijksmuseum”.

For the Willem X Rijksmuseum pop-up concert, the bicycle tunnel of one of the Netherlands’ most famous monuments was transformed into an immersive spatial installation. An experience in which the artist and his audience together became part of a dynamic experience of light and darkness; celebrating the key elements where Rembrandt’s work is known for.
The final result was a striking 360º audiovisual experience where the architecture of the Rijksmuseum was brought to life for an unforgettable show.
